I've often asked myself: "When am I wealthy?" Is it about possessions, money, or maybe my health?
Well, the answer is different for each of us.

For some people, the question "When am I wealthy?" is answered very quickly. They are convinced that the possessions and riches they have are enough to be wealthy. Others, however, are aware that only a bulging bank account can answer the question: "When am I wealthy?"But is that enough to be wealthy and happy?

Money Alone Isn't Everything!

As the saying goes: everything will be fine again! But what good are all my possessions and my money if I'm sick?
Granted, many illnesses can be cured at home or in the hospital. But what if my illness has spread so far that I'll never get well again? I'm not even thinking of dying here, but of someone who sits in a wheelchair or is bound to a bed. For that person, the question "When am I wealthy?" would start from a completely different place! For people like that, it would be a kind of wealth to simply be able to get up
out of bed or the wheelchair!

When Am I Wealthy?

You come across this question again and again. Many married couples wish for a child. But unfortunately that doesn't always work out. Other couples, on the other hand, have children even though they didn't want any or it wasn't planned at the time. For a childless couple, having a child would be a blessing. There are always two sides!

When am I wealthy

But there's something else that makes you ask: "When am I wealthy?" Preschoolers in kindergarten are proud of everything they've accomplished and that they'll soon get to go to school. Students in their final year would like to get through their final exams well. After passing successfully, they'd like to head into working life, college, or at least an internship first. Many teenagers get their driver's license, whether for a moped, scooter, motorcycle or car. For many of our young fellow citizens, this is real life and real wealth. Because if we adults are honest, we were just as happy when we were that age.

You can also call yourself wealthy if you're lucky enough to have a terrace or a balcony. Especially now, during the Covid crisis, it's good to be able to sit outside. You can do homework, have a cup of coffee, or treat yourself to a glass of wine in the evening.
The main thing is not to lose perspective and to keep both feet firmly on the ground.
Because possessions and riches aren't everything in life!
